Advantages to Concentrator/Compressed Gas Oxygen

A concentrator produces and distributes oxygen continuously.

Concentrators take the air around it and remove the nitrogen to create oxygen.

·        80% of all oxygen users have a concentrator and compressed gas portable.

·        Compressed Oxygen does not evaporate. When gauge is turned, off the contents in the cylinder will remain the same.

·         Patients have the freedom to travel far from home for extended periods of time.

·          Patients do not have to fill their tanks so there is no danger involved.

·         Most portable units are contained in a bag and do not draw attention.

·          Patient receives as many portable tanks as needed

·         Patients and prescribing doctors have the choice on having continuous flow or a conserving device. Not all patients can use conserving devices.

Compressed gas gives the flexibility of different size tanks to meet the needs of the patient.
